DESCRIPTION
The evil eye has a deeper meaning for me; since my childhood my mom used to tuck evil eye beads into my clothes, bag, or purse before leaving the house, to protect me from envious eyes.
I used to find small evil eye beads in surprising places when I undress or change my purse. It is a significant and meaningful symbol of my past, present, and Turkish culture. When designing this piece, I wanted to stay true to what I had in my mind when I built the brand BOULO; the unique and soul-bearing designs. The longstanding belief of the watchful gaze is that it keeps you safe from negative energy, harm, and jealousy. May this piece give such a blessing and protection to its bearer.
